RFID cards

RFID cards have won out over other data media thanks to their versatility and robustness.

Contactless chip cards are already an established part of many applications – access control (ski resorts, office buildings, hotels etc.), time recording systems, member and club IDs and much more. The contactless chip card is one of the more robust and long-lived members of the RFID family.

Chips can be Read-Only or Read/Write, as needed. This makes cards very flexible, since they can change owners by changing the information on the RFID.

Unlike magnetic strips or contact-printed chip cards, the RFID chip does not affect the visual printing on the card, so both sides of the card are available for unfettered design.
